Position Overview
Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced and dependable General Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our growing team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Macon, GA (31201) area.

Contractors can expect a flexible schedule, consistent work, and strong earning potential of $2,000 to $3,000 per week, depending on project volume and complexity.
We are looking for individuals who can reliably service locations within a 50-mile radius of Macon, GA, ensuring timely and efficient support for our clients throughout the region.
Candidates holding a valid General Contractor License or HVAC certification will receive priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance and Repairs
Perform a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general property repairs.
HVAC Installation and Repairs
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including troubleshooting issues, replacing components, and ensuring systems operate efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
Accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions, from routine maintenance to complex repair challenges across multiple trades.
Timely Work Order Completion
Complete assigned work orders efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Quality & Professionalism
Deliver consistent, detail-oriented workmanship that reflects company standards and client expectations.
Safety Compliance
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Client Communication
Interact with clients professionally and courteously to ensure a positive service experience and customer satisfaction.
Tools & Transportation
Provide your own complete set of tools and maintain reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the service area.
Insurance Requirement
Maintain general liability insurance (assistance is available if needed).
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a General Handyman, Maintenance Technician, Plumber, Electrician, HVAC Technician, or in a related trade
Strong skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, painting, and HVAC systems
Experience diagnosing and repairing AC units, furnaces, thermostats, refrigerant systems, and ventilation systems
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (must be able to service a 50-mile radius from Macon, GA)
Ownership of professional-grade tools for a wide range of repair and HVAC maintenance tasks
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
General Contractor License or HVAC Certification is preferred and will be prioritized
