We are looking for elite service providers who can reliably cover locations within a 50-mile radius of State College, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality support for our clients throughout Centre County and the surrounding regions. Candidates holding a valid General Contractor License, EPA certification, or localized HVAC trade licensing will receive priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance and Repairs: Efficiently execute a broad spectrum of trade tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, light electrical work, carpentry, drywall patching, painting, and general structural repairs.
HVAC Service and Maintenance: Accurately diagnose, repair, maintain, and support the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems—including condensers, air handlers, thermostats, refrigerant lines, and ventilation components.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Pinpoint root causes of facility and system malfunctions quickly, implementing effective, long-term solutions for routine maintenance and complex technical challenges alike.
Timely Work Order Completion: Manage and complete assigned work orders efficiently, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining uncompromising craftsmanship standards.
Quality & Professionalism: Deliver meticulous, detail-oriented workmanship that reflects company standards, protects property value, and exceeds client expectations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry safety protocols, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations, maintaining a clean, organized job site and following proper HVAC handling and refrigerant safety guidelines.
Client Communication: Interact with residential and commercial clients professionally and courteously, ensuring a transparent, positive service experience and seamless customer satisfaction.
Tools & Transportation: Provide and maintain a complete inventory of professional-grade tools (including specialized HVAC diagnostic equipment) and possess reliable transportation to travel to various job sites within the 50-mile service radius.
Insurance Requirement: Maintain active general liability insurance to protect your business and operations (enrollment assistance is available if needed).
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven Experience: Demonstrated history working as a General Handyman, HVAC Technician, Facility Maintenance Specialist, or in a closely related trade.
Multi-Trade Expertise: Strong foundational skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and comprehensive HVAC systems.
HVAC Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HVAC diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation procedures.
Soft Skills: Outstanding troubleshooting abilities, strong time management, and excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a reliable, work-ready vehicle capable of servicing a 50-mile radius centered in State College, PA.
Equipment: Total ownership of professional-grade tools optimized for general property maintenance and specialized HVAC work.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing project timelines effectively.
Credentials: A valid General Contractor License and/or HVAC certifications (such as EPA Section 608) are highly preferred and prioritized.
