Position Overview
Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced and dependable General Handyman to join our growing team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Pittsburgh, PA 15211 area.

We are looking for individuals who can reliably service locations within a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh, PA 15211, ensuring timely and efficient repair support for our clients throughout the region. Candidates holding a valid General Contractor License or specialized trade credentials will receive priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities
General Home & Commercial Repairs: Perform a wide range of hands-on tasks, including but not limited to residential plumbing repairs, basic electrical troubleshooting, finish carpentry, drywall patching, interior/exterior painting, and fixture installation.
Troubleshooting & Technical Problem Solving: Accurately diagnose situational property issues and implement effective, long-lasting hardware or structural solutions for our clients.
Timely Work Order Completion: Complete assigned work orders efficiently while strictly meeting project deadlines and maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards.
Quality & Professionalism: Deliver consistent, detail-oriented workmanship that reflects company standards and exceeds client expectations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all standard safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
Client Communication: Interact with residential property owners and commercial site managers professionally and courteously to ensure a positive, seamless service experience.
Tools & Transportation: Provide your own comprehensive set of professional-grade hand and power tools, and maintain reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the 50-mile service area.
Insurance Requirement: Carry an active general liability insurance policy (assistance/guidance available if needed).
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven professional experience as a General Handyman or within a related residential/commercial building trade.
Strong physical skill sets in minor plumbing fixes, basic electrical work, carpentry, drywall repair, and painting.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service abilities.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of safely transporting tools across a 50-mile radius from Pittsburgh, PA 15211.
Ownership of professional-grade diagnostic, hand, and power tools required for daily task execution.
Ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and document completed work orders.
General Contractor License or specialized trade certificates are highly preferred and prioritized.
